Target markets

One board category.
Three compliance conversations.

Buyers in each region use similar boards in different code and documentation environments. We present the market need first and confirm evidence against the final product—not against a generic MGO label.

EU • UK • EFTA

Europe

Strong fit with dry construction, timber framing, off-site manufacturing, façade substrates and fire-conscious interiors.

  • ETA / DoP / CE route where applicable
  • Reaction-to-fire and system evidence
  • Country-specific requirements to confirm
AU • NZ • Pacific

Australia & New Zealand

Relevant to lightweight construction, modular projects, wet areas, eaves, external substrates and selected bushfire-conscious systems.

  • NCC evidence of suitability
  • CodeMark / product certification where used
  • BAL and external use only as tested
US • CA • MX

North America

Demand spans wall sheathing, floor systems, multifamily, ADUs, modular buildings, SIPs and fire-rated assemblies.

  • IBC / IRC and ICC-ES evidence
  • ASTM, NFPA, UL or CAN/ULC as required
  • Structural uses only within evaluated scope
ImportantThis website describes potential market applications. It does not state that every board is approved for every use. Structural, exterior, roof, bushfire, fire-rated, marine and infrastructure applications require the exact product and complete assembly to carry suitable evidence.

Product directions

One material.
Different builds.

These are starting categories for quotation—not unverified stock promises. Final availability, composition and performance are confirmed against your application and requested standard.

01General use

Standard MGO Board

A mineral board starting point for dry construction, lining and selected partition or ceiling systems.

02Smooth surface

Sanded MGO Board

A refined surface option for projects where tolerance, coating or lamination preparation matters.

03Load discussion

Flooring & Subfloor Panel

Board options for underlayment and modular floor concepts, reviewed as part of the complete support system.

04Finish options

Decorative & Finished Board

A substrate direction for veneer, coating or decorative surface conversations. Finish compatibility must be confirmed.

Why buyers consider MGO

A mineral board with a broad performance profile.

MGO board can support fire-conscious, moisture-tolerant and dimensionally stable construction strategies. The tested assembly—not a headline alone—determines suitability.

Always request reports relevant to the formulation, thickness, assembly, test method and market where the board will be used.

Fire-conscious assemblies

Mineral composition makes MGO board relevant to fire-resistance discussions. Specify only against the required tested system and local classification.

Moisture-tolerant design

Selected formulations can be considered for humidity-prone conditions. Exposure class, jointing, coating and drying conditions still require review.

Stable mineral core

Board density, reinforcement and conditioning can support a stable substrate. Confirm tolerances and movement expectations before production.

Finish flexibility

Sanded, coated and laminated directions can be reviewed for the intended visual or functional surface. Adhesion trials are recommended.

Applications

Match the board
to the assembly.

Use the application as the first filter. Fasteners, framing, joints, coatings and exposure may be as important as the board itself.

Interior walls & partitions

Wall lining, partitions and service enclosures for residential, commercial and modular interiors.

Exterior wall sheathing

Structural or non-structural sheathing only within the tested product and assembly scope.

Façade & render substrate

Backing for rainscreen, cladding, render and coating systems, subject to exposure approval.

Fire-rated assemblies

Walls, ceilings, shafts and protective enclosures built to a matching tested system.

Ceilings, eaves & soffits

Fixed or suspended ceilings, protected eaves, balcony soffits and service-area linings.

Wet areas & tile backing

Bathroom, laundry, kitchen and tile substrate applications within tested wet-area limits.

Flooring & underlayment

Underlayment, tile substrate, structural subfloor and raised-floor concepts as evaluated.

Roof systems

Roof sheathing, cover boards and panel facers only where product evidence supports the use.

SIP & sandwich panels

Facers and skins for engineered composite panels, subject to bonding and system trials.

Prefab, modular & ADUs

Repeatable panels for volumetric modules, tiny homes, pods and container conversions.

Fire doors & specialist cores

Core and protective panel applications requiring the finished component to be certified.

Decorative & acoustic panels

Smooth substrates for veneer, coating, laminate, perforation and acoustic assemblies.

Selection logic

Three questions before the thickness.

A better brief helps avoid quoting a board that does not match the construction.

01 / EXPOSUREWhere will it be used?

Interior, humidity-prone, protected exterior, floor or factory-applied panel.

02 / SYSTEMHow is it installed?

Framing, fastener spacing, joints, adhesive, coating and adjacent materials.

03 / PROOFWhat must be verified?

Test method, classification, tolerance, finish acceptance and market documents.

Inquiry process

From requirement
to clear quotation.

The first goal is not to rush a price. It is to confirm enough detail that price, sample and performance documents refer to the same product.

01

Share the project

Application, market, quantity, destination and required timing.

02

Confirm the board

Composition direction, thickness, size, edge, surface and relevant standard.

03

Review evidence

Discuss samples, tolerances, labels, packing and applicable reports.

04

Quote the supply

Align product, quantity, packing, commercial terms and delivery scope.

Application case frameworks

Show the system,
not only the sheet.

Until real customer projects and photographs are supplied, the case centre uses transparent project frameworks. Each future case will connect the board, assembly, evidence and outcome.

Before you ask

Useful first answers.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Send the destination market, application, thickness, board size, edge and surface, estimated quantity, destination port and any required test standard. If the specification is incomplete, start with the wall, floor or roof assembly.

Can I use one test report for every MGO board?

No. Results may depend on formulation, thickness, density, reinforcement and the complete tested assembly. Ask for evidence that matches the quoted product and your market requirement.

Can surfaces, edges and packing be customised?

They can be discussed as part of the sourcing brief. Feasibility and minimum quantities must be confirmed before they are included in a final offer.

Why are there no factory claims or certificate badges yet?

This first website version intentionally avoids publishing unverified capacity, export history or certification claims. Confirmed documents and real factory content will replace these placeholders.
